dance hall days...

Below I give you a rather humiliating photo of myself--about 4 years old maybe. It is actually one of my favorites next to one of me around the same age in a King-Kong t-shirt.

The costume? Retro-chic. The era? 70s glam perfomance art. The dance that took the audience's breath away? "Lonely Little Petunia in an Onion Patch." Apparently I am supposed to be dressed like a petunia. I feel as if I have captured the essence that is a lonely mis-planted petunia in a smelly onion patch, don't you? It is, quite simply, the story of my life really.

I have a grown-up version of this costume too! No I don't. Yes I do. No I don't. Yes. No. -- No, I really don't.

I think you missed your calling. You should have been a dancer...here's an idea...auditions anyone!? I think Ultimate Coyote might be making a stop in your town soon (next to Nashville...your town is the 2nd headquarters).
FYI...Ultimate Coyote is a show on CMT that auditions dancers/singers/ bartenders to work in Coyote Ugly bars all over the country. Big Time!

It wouldn't be the first calling I've missed.
